Boutros Khlat
Biography
Dr. Khlat Boutros is an anesthesiologist and intensivist at the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Service of Policlinico San Marco.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honors from the University of Milan in 1986 and specialized in Liver Diseases and Metabolism in 1989. He further specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the University of Pavia in 2001.
Dr. Khlat has continued his education with three additional master’s degrees: in Transesophageal Echocardiography (2004) at Bergamo, in Antibiotic Management (2018) at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, and in Advanced Microbiological Diagnostics (2020) at the University of Pavia. He also deepened his knowledge in advanced clinical ultrasound techniques for emergency and urgent care in 2006.
From 2001 to 2017, he worked with the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Service at Istituto Clinico Sant’Ambrogio of the San Donato Group. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Boutros Khlat is a lecturer and team leader for various national conventions and has served in the Air Force Medical Corps as a lieutenant doctor and head of the medical base.
