Aspero Lapilli
Biography
Professor Aspero Lapilli is a general surgeon at Villa Chiara in Bologna.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1973 and specialized in Vascular Surgery at the same university in 1979. He further specialized in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Chieti in 1976, General Surgery at the University of Bologna in 1978, and Medical Hydrology and Thermal Medicine at the University of Parma in 1980.
A specialist in phlebological surgery, Professor Lapilli worked at the Surgical Clinic of the University of Bologna under Professors Possati and Gozzetti. From 1974 to 1994, he was involved in organ transplantation, including experience in Denver, Colorado.
He currently focuses on:
- Vascular diagnostics with color Doppler ultrasound
- Laser surgery for venous vessels
- Sclerotherapy for varicose veins and telangiectasias
- Post-thrombotic ulcers and deep vein thrombosis management
Professor Lapilli has authored over 150 publications and actively participates in national and international conferences.
