Andrea Parente

Dr. Andrea Parente is an orthopedic surgeon at the Hip and Knee Prosthetic Surgery Center of the Istituto Clinico San Siro. He also collaborates with Smart Clinic.

After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2013 from the University of Milan, he obtained a specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the same university in 2019.

From 2014 to 2015, he worked as a resident doctor at the Knee Joint Surgery Center (CARG) of the ASST Gaetano Pini in Milan.

From 2015 to November 2016, he attended the Orthopedics II Department – Knee and Shoulder Surgery at the Policlinico San Donato; from November 2016 to April 2017, he worked in the Orthopedics V Department - Hip Surgery and Traumatology at the same institution.

From May to November 2017, he worked at the Prosthetic Surgery Center (CCP) of the Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute in Milan, where he returned from May 2018 to December 2019. From November 2017 to May 2018, he was part of the Trauma Center at AO Niguarda Ca' Granda.

From November to December 2018, he completed a Visiting Fellowship at the "Hip Preservation Service" of the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

He primarily focuses on:

• Arthritic pathology and hip and knee prosthetic surgery
• Knee sports traumatology

He is a member of three EKA Focus Groups 2020-2022 (Small Implants, Personalized TKA, Revision TKA) and a member of AAOS, ESSKA, EKA, ISTA, EHS, EKS, SIOT, and SIAGASCOT.

Author of scientific publications in national and international journals, he has participated in numerous congresses, also as a speaker.
