Ahmad Kantar
Biography
Dr. Ahmad Kantar is the Head of the Pediatrics Department at Policlinico San Pietro.
In 1991, he was a Visiting Scientist at the Laboratory of Fluorescence Dynamics at the University of Illinois in the United States and a Visiting Doctor at the Department of Child Health at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
He began his academic career in 1994 as a Contract Professor for the course "New Biochemical Methodologies of Clinical Chemistry Interest" at the University of Camerino and as a Contract Professor for the course "Respiratory Inflammation in Childhood" at the University of Ancona. He continued to teach various university courses until 2008 at both universities.
From 2006 to 2012, Dr. Kantar served as the Health and Scientific Director of the Center for Diagnosis, Treatment, and Rehabilitation of Childhood Asthma at the Istituto Pio XII in Misurina.
He is a member of prestigious national scientific societies, such as the Italian Society of Pediatrics (SIP) and the Italian Society of Pediatric Allergology and Immunology (SIAIP), as well as international scientific societies, including the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the European Respiratory Society (ERS), and the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
