Irene Marinucci

Dr. Irene Marinucci is a radiologist at Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery in 1993 from the University of Rome, she specialized in Radiodiagnostics in 2004 at the University of Milan.

From 1993 to 1999, she attended the O.U. of Surgery at the Azienda Ospedaliera S. Camillo in Rome as a physician on a scholarship won from the Fondazione per la Formazione Oncologica in Milan related to a research program for breast cancer prevention at the European Institute of Oncology

In October 1999, the Selection Committee of the Foundation for Oncology Training awarded her a fellowship to carry out a research program in breast diagnostics at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Italy.

In 2002, Marinucci attended the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, at the Ontario Cancer Institute, where she was involved in breast densitometry by computerized method.

From 2005 to 2012, she held the position of Head of the Breast Radiology Service and Mammography Screening at the Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri in Milan, Italy.

Dr. Marinucci has extensive experience in the field of breast diagnostics, gained over more than two decades of practice, with about 5,000 examinations per year in:

• Mammography
• Ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Biopsies.

She has carried out multiple research activities for breast oncologic pathology as well, at the IEO in Milan, where she works, as well as at the Treatment Center, as a freelance consultant in the Senology Division. She has numerous publications as well.
