Biographie

Le Dr George Cremona dirige le service de pneumologie et de physiopathologie respiratoire de l'hôpital IRCCS San Raffaele de Milan. Il a été formé à l'Università Cattolica Sacro Cuore de Rome, où il a obtenu un diplôme de médecine et de chirurgie et s'est spécialisé dans les maladies du système respiratoire. Entre 1991 et 1994, il a effectué un doctorat à l'université de Cambridge, au Royaume-Uni.

Dans le service qu'il dirige, toutes les pathologies respiratoires sont prises en charge avec des consultations externes multidisciplinaires dédiées par pathologie pour l'asthme bronchique sévère, l'hypertension pulmonaire, les maladies interstitielles pulmonaires, les néoplasmes pulmonaires et l'apnée du sommeil. Le Dr Cremona effectue des consultations spécialisées pour tous les services d'hospitalisation de l'hôpital.

Le Dr Cremona est professeur adjoint à l'université Vita-Salute. Depuis 2000, il coordonne le cours intégré de pneumologie dans le cadre de la maîtrise en médecine et en chirurgie. Il est l'auteur de chapitres de manuels et d'articles scientifiques publiés dans des revues internationales. Il est également réviseur occasionnel pour des revues du domaine telles que European Respiratory Journal, Journal of Applied Physiology, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care.
