السيرة الذاتية

الدكتور جورج كريمونا هو رئيس قسم أمراض الجهاز التنفسي والفسيولوجيا الرئوية في مستشفى Ospedale San Raffaele (مستشفى سان رافييلي) في ميلانو. 

درس في جامعة Università Cattolica Sacro Cuore (جامعة القلب المقدس الكاثوليكية) في روما حيث تخرج من كلية الطب والجراحة ثم تخصص في أمراض الجهاز التنفسي، وبين عامي 1991 و 1994 حصل على الدكتوراه في جامعة University of Cambridge (جامعة كامبريدج) في المملكة المتحدة.

في القسم الذي يرأسه يتم علاج جميع أمراض الجهاز التنفسي في عيادات خارجية متعددة التخصصات مصممة لعلاج الأشكال الشديدة من الربو القصبي وارتفاع ضغط الدم في الشرايين الرئوية وأمراض أنسجة الرئة والأورام الرئوية وانقطاع التنفس أثناء النوم، كما يقدم الدكتور كريمونا بإستشارات متخصصة في جميع أقسام المستشفى.

يعمل الدكتور كريمونا كأستاذ زائر في جامعة Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (جامعة فيتا-سالوتي سان رافييلي)، و منذ عام 2000 كان منسقًا لدورة شاملة في أمراض الجهاز التنفسي لبرنامج الماجستير في كلية الطب والجراحة.

هو مؤلف لفصول كتاب ومقالات علمية نشرت في المجلات الدولية، بالإضافة إلى كونه مراجعًا لمجلات مثل: European Respiratory Journal و Journal of Applied Physiology و American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care.
