罗莎娜·卡尔达拉医生是再生医学与器官移植运营单元的移植医学项目负责人,该单元由洛伦佐·皮埃蒙蒂教授领导,同时她也是一名专门研究糖尿病和代谢性疾病的内分泌学专家。
1987年,她以优异成绩毕业于米兰国立大学医学与外科学专业,1992年在同一所大学获得糖尿病与代谢性疾病的专业资格。
1989年至1990年,她获得赴法国里昂爱德华·赫里奥医院移植医学与临床免疫学、泌尿学与器官移植外科学培训奖学金。1992至1993年,她在圣拉斐尔科学研究所完成了糖尿病与代谢病学的博士后研究。
作为移植医学项目的负责人,卡尔达拉医生负责提供内科领域以及肾脏、肾胰联合和胰岛移植病人的管理、信息传达与治疗服务。她从患者入院起便开始全程跟踪,直至其出院。
除了病房的工作,她还定期进行门诊接诊,并与科室同事共同承担待命任务,为需要紧急治疗的移植患者提供院内外临床支持。
在临床工作之外,她还依据GCP(良好临床规范)参与研究活动,负责制定其病人的治疗策略与研究方案,同时协助科室主任完成管理和组织工作。
在研究领域,她与药企及内外部合作机构(如意大利北部器官移植组织和国家移植中心)保持密切联系,协调临床护理和研究相关的组织工作。
自2018年以来,她是I期临床试验研究的协调人。
在学术方面,她积极参与圣拉斐尔生命健康大学的教学工作,担任大学导师,并活跃于全国及国际层面的移植相关事务。
她是以下学会的成员:意大利糖尿病学会(SID)、意大利肾脏学会(SIN)、意大利器官移植学会(SITO),并于2020–2023年担任SIN–SITO联合委员会的执行成员。
