Биография
Dr. Dimitrios Choussos is a Urologist and Head of the Urology Unit at the Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 2008, where he later also obtained his specialization in Urology.
Dr. Choussos completed advanced training in Andrology at the University of Pavia and holds a second-level Master’s degree in Andrology from the University of Turin.
He is an expert in the treatment of urological oncology, with a focus on:
- Prostate cancer;
- Kidney cancer;
- Bladder cancer.
Dr. Choussos is also specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia (diagnosis and various minimally invasive laser ablation treatments).
Additionally, he treats interstitial cystitis, urinary incontinence, and erectile dysfunction using low-intensity focused shockwave therapy (LI-ESWT).
