Daniela Cavalca

Dr. Daniela Cavalca is the Head of the Laser Surgery Unit at the Istituto Clinico San Rocco in Brescia.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma in 1980, and continued her training in France and Italy. In 1983, she was an Attaché Associé in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Hôpital Jeanne D'Arc in Dommartin-Lès-Toul. Returning to Parma, she specialized in Plastic Surgery, and in 1986, she moved again to France to obtain a diploma in Plastic and Microsurgery from the University of Nancy. In the same year, she also specialized in Hand Surgery.

Her area of expertise is Laser Surgery, with a particular focus on the study and treatment of vascular anomalies using a multi-laser platform.

Dr. Cavalca teaches courses on vascular and pigmented lesions at the University of Ancona. She frequently delivers keynote lectures at the Plastic Surgery specialization school at the University of Udine and also organizes courses in laser therapy for the treatment of vascular, pigmented, and scar lesions.

She participates in medical congresses and panels, contributing to 70 publications in national and international journals such as Minerva Chirurgica, Revue Stomatologie de Chirurgie Maxillo-faciale, and Journal de La Pediatria Medica e Chirurgica, among others. She is a member of prestigious expert groups, including the Italian Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (SISAV).
