Antonio Russo

Dr. Antonio Russo is a urologist at the Urology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, led by Dr. Franco Gaboardi.

After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2014 from the University of Naples "Federico II," he specialized, again with honors, in Urology in 2019 at the same university. During his training, he completed a fellowship in advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery at La Clinique Saint-Augustin in Bordeaux, under Prof. Thierry Piechaud and Prof. Richard Gaston, the first urologist in the world to perform laparoscopic prostatectomy.

Dr. Russo's clinical focus is primarily on minimally invasive robotic, laparoscopic, and laser treatments of oncological and non-oncological urinary tract conditions. He also pays special attention to major andrological conditions such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, Peyronie's disease (induratio penis plastica), and couple infertility.

Currently, he serves as a Trainer Tutor in laparoscopic and robotic surgery at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France, a world-renowned surgical training center.

He is the author and co-author of several publications in urological scientific journals and regularly participates in national and international conferences in the field.
