Antonio Casarico

Dr. Antonio Casarico graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa in 1976.  

In 1979, he earned a specialization in Urology from "La Sapienza" University in Rome, followed by a specialization in Andrology from the University of Pisa in 1987, both with honors.  

Since 2021, he has been serving as a consultant in Urology and Andrology at the Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia.  

Prior to joining this hospital, Dr. Casarico also practiced at the Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo. He worked at the Urological Center of Excellence for ASL 1 Imperiese, covering clinical-diagnostic roles at the Imperia Hospital and performing surgical procedures at the Sanremo Hospital.  

From 2013 to 2014, he served as an Andrology consultant at the Reproductive Medicine Center of the Evangelical International Hospital in Genoa. There, he performed testicular sperm extraction (TESE) as part of a second-level Assisted Reproductive Technology program.  

For over 30 years, from 1980 to 2012, Dr. Casarico was a Medical Director at the Andrology Center of the Urology Department, Galliera Hospital in Genoa.
