Biographie

Le Dr Jacopo Peccatori dirige le service fonctionnel de greffe de moelle osseuse et l'unité clinique du programme de transplantation (CIC 813) du service d'hématologie et de greffe de moelle osseuse de IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, dirigé par le professeur Fabio Ciceri, et collabore avec Casa di Cura la Madonnina.

Sa formation a commencé en 1993 avec un diplôme de Médecine et de chirurgie à l'Université de Milan, où il s'est spécialisé en Médecine interne en 1998. Il a ensuite obtenu une spécialisation en hématologie en 2006 à l'Université Bicocca de Milan. Au fil des ans, il a effectué un stage à l'étranger, notamment au service de transplantation pédiatrique de l'HÔPITAL gosh - Great Ormond Street à Londres. Il a également collaboré avec l'Association Cure2Children dans le cadre d'un projet international de développement de la transplantation en Inde, après avoir passé du temps à l'hôpital de Jaipur.

Le Dr Peccatori a suivi divers cours de formation avancée en anesthésie et, pendant des années, a personnellement effectué une sédation procédurale lors d'interventions diagnostiques (telles que l'aspiration de la moelle osseuse et la ponction lombaire) qui pourraient autrement être gênantes pour le patient.

Dans le service de transplantation dirigé par le Dr Peccatori, environ 80 transplantations allogéniques sont effectuées par an pour diverses maladies (leucémie, lymphome, myélome) et de diverses sources de donneurs (membres de la famille, adultes du registre, cordon ombilical). En tant que chercheur, le Dr Peccatori a lancé de nombreuses études sur la toxicité allogénique réduite et a participé à des études multicentriques et internationales sur la transplantation, dont les résultats ont été publiés dans d'importantes revues scientifiques.

Auteur de plus de 80 publications dans des revues scientifiques internationales, son indice de Hirsch est 28.

Il est membre de l'EBMT (European Blood and Marrow Transplantation group) et du GITMO (groupe Italien de transplantation de moelle osseuse).
