The Mood Disorders Center specializes in diagnosing and treating mood disorders, primarily major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder. These conditions are highly prevalent, with mood disorders affecting a significant portion of the population. Specialists of the Center are a key resource for management complex cases, particularly those involving co-occurring conditions like anxiety, OCD, Tourette syndrome, and personality disorders.

Offering both inpatient and outpatient care, treatment approaches include pharmacological therapies, chronobiological methods, and somatic treatments, all tailored to manage symptoms, prevent relapse, and support long-term stability. With around 700 annual hospitalizations and over 3,000 outpatient visits, the Center combines high patient volumes with innovative therapies, setting a standard of excellence in mood disorder care.
