Biographie
Dr. Roberta Sangalli is the Head of the Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratory Service (SMEL) at the Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza and is also responsible for the blood sampling points at the Carate Brianza and Brugherio locations.
She graduated in Biological Sciences with a specialization in cytological-histological health sciences from the University of Milan in 1990. She later obtained various certifications and master's degrees, including one in Nutrition and Dietetics in Sports (2013), a Master’s in Integrated Quality, Environment, and Safety Management Systems (2014), and a diploma from the School of Quality Science in Laboratory Medicine (2018).
Dr. Sangalli specializes in biochemical, immunometric, hematological, microbiological analyses, and the examination of urine and feces. She has extensive experience in optical microscopy, particularly in interpreting peripheral blood smears and urinary sediments.
She has developed significant expertise in Microbiology, including sample plating, isolation, identification, and staining techniques. She is proficient in using the VITEK 2 system and analyzing seminal fluids. Additionally, she has extensive experience in organizing and managing Quality Management Systems for both intra- and inter-laboratory processes, based on ISO standards and Joint Commission standards.
