Luca Gordini

Dr. Luca Gordini is a general surgeon at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio.

In 2012, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cagliari, where he also specialized in General Surgery in 2018.

In 2016, he obtained a Level I Master in Hernia and Abdominal Wall Surgery from the Italian Society of Hernia and Abdominal Wall Surgery (ISHAWS), and in 2020, he attended the National Reference School in Endocrine Surgery of the Italian Society of Surgery (SIC).

His clinical activities include General Surgery with a focus on Minimally Invasive Surgery, Hernia and Abdominal Wall Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, and Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery.

In humanitarian work, he volunteers with Operation Hernia and participated in a humanitarian mission in Nalerigu (Ghana) in 2017.

He is a member of several scientific societies, including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI), the Italian Society of Surgery (SIC), and The Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons (TUGS).

Dr. Gordini has authored over 40 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed international journals and is a speaker at national and international conferences.
