Biographie
Dr. Cesare Stagni is an orthopedic traumatologist at the Orthopedic Unit 9 at Villa Erbosa in Bologna.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery in 1999 from the University of Bologna, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2004 at the same institution. Dr. Stagni has gained international experience at Hospital Universitario Dexeus in Barcelona, Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and Fortius Clinic in London.
Throughout his career, he has worked at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute, focusing on hip and knee arthroscopic surgery, as well as reconstructive and prosthetic knee surgery. He has also served as Coordinator of the Specialized Reference Center for personalized treatments in lower limb reconstructive surgery.
Currently, at Villa Erbosa, Dr. Stagni specializes in:
- Hip prosthetic surgery (primary and revision)
- Knee prosthetic surgery (primary and revision)
- Hip arthroscopic surgery (femoroacetabular impingement)
- Groin pain (inguinal pain in athletes)
- Knee arthroscopic surgery (meniscal repairs and ligament reconstructions)
