Arturo Mastropasqua

Dr. Arturo Mastropasqua is a Diabetologist and Dietitian at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio. He also collaborates with Palazzo della Salute - Wellness Clinic.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1984, where he later specialized in Nutritional Sciences in 1995. In 1990, he was recognized as a Diabetologist by the Medical Board of the Province of Milan, after spending six years at the Diabetology Department of Niguarda Hospital in Milan. During this time, he participated in numerous studies on diabetic neuropathy and vasculopathy, which were published in international journals.

From 1990 until 2023, he worked at the Garbagnate Milanese Hospital in Internal Medicine, with a focus primarily on Diabetology. Since 1997, he has been the Head of the Diabetology Service at the same hospital, managing Type 2 diabetes, Type 1 diabetes, and gestational diabetes on a daily basis.

He also established the Diabetic Foot Clinic, collaborating with Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Mastropasqua's primary interest is the cardiovascular evaluation of diabetic patients, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach involving cardiologists, nephrologists, and vascular surgeons in diagnosis and treatment.

Throughout his professional career, he has gained substantial experience not only in diabetic foot care but also in the management of Type 2 and Type 1 diabetes, as well as gestational diabetes.
