Biographie
Dr. Angela Lucente is an Orthoptist at the Ophthalmology Unit of the Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia and the Istituto Clinico S. Anna.
She graduated in Orthoptics and Ophthalmic Assistance from the University of Parma in 2011. She completed an internship at Hopital Ophtalmique Jules Gorgone in the École supérieure d’orthoptique de Lausanne.
Dr. Lucente is experienced in pediatric orthoptics for patients with:
- Amblyopia (lazy eye)
- Strabismus: horizontal, vertical
- Abnormal head postures
She deals with pleoptic therapy and visual rehabilitation aimed at improving reading in patients with learning disorders.
She treats adult patients with diplopia, including:
- Assessment of alterations related to extraocular muscle function
- Execution of Hess Lancaster screen
- Application of prismatic lenses
She performs ophthalmic instrumental tests such as visual field, corneal topography, and corneal pachymetry.
