Biografía

El profesor Paolo Ghia es director del Programa Estratégico sobre LLC y jefe de la Unidad de Investigación de Neoplasias de Células B del Hospital de Investigación San Raffaele. También es profesor titular de Oncología Médica en la Universidad Vita-Salute San Raffaele.

Por su interés clínico y de investigación, el profesor Ghia ha dedicado los últimos 30 años a la investigación traslacional en onco-hematología y, en particular, en leucemias/linfomas indolentes, incluida la leucemia linfocítica crónica (LLC).

Es miembro de sociedades científicas internacionales, entre ellas:

co-presidente del Grupo de Trabajo sobre enfermedades linfoproliferativas, GIMEMA (Grupo Italiano de Enfermedades Hematológicas del Adulto),
