Dr. Mauro Lippa is a surgeon specializing in Digestive Endoscopy and is currently the head of the Digestive Endoscopy Service at the General Surgery Unit of the Istituto Clinico Sant'Anna in Brescia.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1984, where he also obtained a specialization in Digestive System Surgery and Digestive Endoscopy in 1989, followed by a General Surgery specialization in 1998, also from the University of Milan.
Dr. Lippa further enhanced his expertise through two master's programs:
- In 1994, he completed a master's degree in Laparoscopy at the University of Padua, 1st Surgery.
- In 2016, he earned a master's degree in Advanced Endoscopy from the University of Bologna.
His career includes:
- From 1987 to 1991, he served as an assistant in General Surgery at the Bormio - Sondalo Hospital.
- From 1991 to 1998, he worked as an assistant in General Surgery at the Montichiari Hospital.
- Since 1998, he has been a freelancer at the San Camillo Clinic in the General Surgery and Digestive Endoscopy Unit.
Since 2007, he has been working at the General Surgery Unit of the Istituto Clinico Sant'Anna, where he focuses on Digestive Endoscopy and Gastroenterological Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Lippa has expertise in proctology, with experience in minimally invasive techniques such as the HELP procedure.
He manages the Digestive Endoscopy Service and oversees the Gastroenterology Clinic. Dr. Lippa has also authored several scientific publications on topics such as:
