Dr. Giovanni Vailati is the orthopedic surgeon in charge of the Orthopedics Unit at the Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo in Vigevano.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1980 and specialized in Orthopedics at the same institution in 1986.
In the 1980s, he completed internships at orthopedic centers in various European cities, including Barcelona, Lyon, Marseille, Modena, and Bergamo.
Dr. Vailati specializes in hip and knee prosthetic surgery and is experienced in arthroscopic knee surgery, as well as surgery of the hand, foot, and shoulder. He also performs trauma surgery using the Ilizarov external fixator technique.
