Dr. Elisa Maria Nerina Compagnino is an Anesthesiologist and Intensive Care Specialist at the Multispecialty Intensive Care Unit of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2013. In 2019, she completed her specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care, and Pain Management at the same university with top marks.
During her academic years, Dr. Compagnino trained at various institutions within the University of Milan’s network, gaining experience as both an Anesthesiologist and an Intensive Care Specialist. Her training covered not only General Surgery but also specialized fields such as Neurointensive Care, Trauma, and Locoregional Anesthesia, with a particular focus on the Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular area.
Dr. Compagnino’s clinical activity primarily involves providing anesthesia for all types of surgeries performed at the hospital, including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Hemodynamics, Vascular Surgery, Electrophysiology, Bariatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Emergency Surgery.
She has a strong interest in the management of patients with cardio-thoraco-vascular diseases.
Her research efforts are mainly focused on the management of post-operative pain in proctological surgery.
