Benedetta Tagliabue

Dr. Benedetta Tagliabue is a Geriatrician and the head of internal medicine specialists in the Neurological and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Units at the Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Carate. She also practices as a geriatrician in the Neurological Rehabilitation Unit and the Cognitive Disorders and Dementia Center (CDCD) within the same facility. Additionally, she is a Geriatric Specialist at the NeuroSmart Center of Zucchi Wellness Clinic.

Dr. Tagliabue graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2007 and specialized in Geriatrics and Gerontology five years later at the same institution.

Her focus is on Geriatrics, particularly concerning dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and the functional recovery and rehabilitation of patients with sub-acute clinical and neurological issues coming from neurology, neurosurgery, and neurocritical care units.

She also serves as the medical supervisor for the Alzheimer Café, a free space dedicated to activities that stimulate socialization for people with dementia and provides training and support proposals for their families.

Dr. Tagliabue is actively involved in numerous courses and conferences in the geriatric field and seminars addressing issues related to dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
