Биография
Dr. Fabrizio Ildefonso Scroppo is the Head of the Andrology Service at Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1989, then specialized in Andrology at the University of Pisa in 1993 and in Urology at the University of Insubria in 2006.
His professional activity is entirely dedicated to Uro-Andrology, covering all its medical and surgical aspects, with a particular focus on couple infertility, male sexual dysfunctions, and inflammatory, neurogenic, and neoplastic conditions affecting sexual and reproductive functions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Scroppo has gained experience in prestigious centers, including:
- Andrology Service at San Paolo Hospital in Milan (1997-2002)
- Unipolar Spinal Unit at Niguarda Hospital in Milan (2005-2010)
- Urology Unit at Circolo Hospital and Macchi Foundation in Varese (2010-2023).
He has authored over 100 national and international publications and has participated as a speaker in more than 130 conferences and courses in Italy and abroad.
Dr. Scroppo has been an active member of the Italian Society of Andrology since 1990, serving as the Scientific Coordinator of the Lombardy-Piedmont-Valle d'Aosta section from 2014 to 2016, a member of the Executive Committee from 2017 to 2019, and currently holds a position on the Fertility Commission.
