Биография
Dr. Anna Rita Giovagnoli is a neurologist at Zucchi Wellness Clinic – Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ancona in 1981, she specialized in Neurology at the same institution in 1985. In 2008, she further specialized in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at the University of Milan.
Her subsequent training includes a Ph.D. in Applied Neurological Sciences from the University of Siena and a diploma in psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy from the AreaG School in Milan (accredited by MIUR).
Following her initial experiences at the Neurological Clinic of the University of Ancona, she served at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico "Carlo Besta" in Milan from 1989, where she held significant positions in Cognitive-Behavioral Neurology. During her tenure, she developed research projects focusing on adult cognitive disorders, addressing topics such as:
- Cognitive decline and dementia
- Social cognition and semantic memory
- Creativity, aphasia, and agnosia
- Normative assessments for attention-executive tests
Throughout her career, Dr. Giovagnoli has explored quality of life and psychological profiles in patients with complex neurological conditions such as brain tumors, drug-resistant epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases. She has also dedicated herself to cognitive rehabilitation procedures for patients with cognitive decline and has conducted individual and group psychotherapy for patients experiencing anxiety-depressive disorders, insomnia, or adjustment difficulties.
Currently, at Istituti Clinici Zucchi, she focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive and psychopathological disorders, employing an integrated approach that combines clinical and instrumental assessment techniques.
