Dr. Raffaele Ceccarino is a plastic surgeon at the Breast Surgery Unit of the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, directed by Prof. Oreste D. Gentilini.
In 1986, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University Federico II of Naples, where he specialized in Emergency Surgery in 1991 and in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in 2002.
In 2017, he obtained a Master’s degree from the European School of Microsurgery at the University of Barcelona.
Dr. Ceccarino is a consultant plastic surgeon for post-oncological breast reconstructive surgery and for aesthetic plastic surgery.
Over the years, he has refined his expertise in all techniques of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, developing a technique for procedures in local anesthesia using cold tumescence, which has been patented and is internationally copyrighted.
