Vincenzo Maiolo

Dr. Vincenzo Maiolo is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the Clinical Arrhythmology and Electrophysiology Unit of Policlinico San Donato, directed by Professor Carlo Pappone.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in July 2014 from the University of Perugia with highest honors, presenting a thesis entitled: “Red Cell Distribution Width and prognosis in patients with heart failure undergoing cardiac resynchronization therapy.”

He then obtained his specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases in November 2020 from the University of Brescia, with a thesis on the “New generation of Micra AV: early evidence” (supervisor Prof. Marco Metra; co-supervisor Prof. Antonio Curnis).

He currently works as a staff physician in the Arrhythmology and Electrophysiology Department of Policlinico San Donato, an international referral center for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

His clinical activity focuses particularly on the diagnosis, management and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and on the implantation of cardiac stimulation devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
