Luca Maria Gandini

Dr. Luca Maria Gandini is Head of the Functional Unit within the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, directed by Professor Massimo Candiani.

After graduating with honors from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan in 1986, he graduated with honors in gynecology and obstetrics in 1990 at the University of Milan.

Dr. Gandini, after working for approximately 25 years in urogynecology and pelvic floor surgery, currently performs clinical obstetric activities in the delivery room, with the qualification of being responsible for the management of overdue pregnancies and cesarean sections, as well as outpatient activities of obstetric ultrasound diagnostics and non-invasive prenatal diagnostics. In the gynecological field, he deals with the diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of benign gynecological pathologies and gynecological ultrasound diagnostics.

During his thirty-year career in the obstetric and gynecological fields, he has performed hundreds of gynecological surgeries and assisted in thousands of deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean.

He is the author and co-author of publications in national and international scientific journals. Constantly participates in national and international industry congresses.
