Daniele Altomare

Dr. Daniele Altomare is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, directed by Dr. Augusto Dagnino and Dr. Carlo Enrico Fiorentini.
He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2018 from the University of Genoa and later specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Humanitas University in Milan, again with top marks and honors.
His clinical and surgical practice focuses on minimally invasive hip replacement surgery (anterior approach), robotic knee surgery, and reconstructive ligament surgery of the knee and shoulder. He regularly performs surgeries and conducts specialist outpatient consultations.
He has also developed expertise in regenerative medicine applied to orthopedics, particularly in the use of:
- PRP (platelet-rich plasma),
- mesenchymal stem cells from adipose tissue, and
- bone marrow-derived stem cells.
He is the author of several scientific publications in the orthopedic field, particularly on innovative regenerative treatments for joints and tendons.
