Antonio Abate Sciretta

Dr. Antonio Abate Sciretta is a general and bariatric surgeon, serving as a consultant in General and Bariatric Surgery at Policlinico San Donato.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1995, where he also specialized in General Surgery in 2004, again with honors. His thesis focused on "Accelerated Graft Atherosclerosis in Heart Transplant Patients."

In 1997, Dr. Sciretta was awarded a scholarship for his research on "The Role of FK-506 as an Immunosuppressant in Heart Transplant Patients."

As of January 2024, he has been working with the San Donato Group, focusing on General and Bariatric Surgery.
