Sofia Gervasi

Dr. Sofia Gervasi is a biologist nutritionist at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.

She graduated in Biotechnology from the University of Milan in 2020. In 2022, she obtained a master’s degree in Applied Biology to Nutritional Sciences from the same university, and in 2023, she passed the state exam to become a certified biologist at the University of Pavia.

During her final year of her master's program, she completed an internship at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in the bariatric surgery department, where she managed bariatric patients, assisting various medical specialists, and participated in clinical research.

In the summer of 2019, she worked at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming as a Hospitality Crew Associate, managing and coordinating kitchen operations.

At IRCCS Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio, she serves as a biologist nutritionist in the nutrition service with endocrino-metabolic assistance, focusing on:

• Body composition analysis
• Anthropometric evaluation
• Development of personalized nutrition plans

At Palazzo della Salute - Wellness Clinic, she performs the same role and conducts bioimpedance and anthropometric analyses to assess body composition, allowing her to create personalized nutrition plans based on patients' needs.

Dr. Gervasi has worked alongside freelance biologist nutritionists, honing her skills in bioimpedance and anthropometric analysis.

After obtaining her professional qualification, she attended several training courses in sports nutrition, gaining further knowledge in the field.
