Biografía

Dr. Pasquale Farina is the Corporate Medical Director of the Villa Aprica Clinical Institute in Como, where he is also responsible for the Quality Management System, Risk Management, and serves as the Scientific Director of Training. Additionally, he is the Medical Director of Smart Clinic Cantù 2000 and the Occupational Physician for Punti RAF Resnati of San Raffaele.  

He completed his education at the University of Naples, earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1995, the same year he specialized in Food Hygiene. In 2000, he obtained a specialization in Hygiene, Preventive Medicine, and Occupational Medicine.  

From 1998 to 2001, Dr. Farina was a lecturer in Hygiene and Epidemiology at the Faculty of Motor Sciences in Naples. He also served as a lecturer in Hygiene at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Second University of Naples from 2001 to 2002.  

His career in medical management began in 2001 as Deputy Medical Director at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato. He later held the same position at IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute, where he also served as Acting Medical Director. In 2005, he became Deputy Medical Director at Villa Aprica Clinical Institute and was promoted to Medical Director in 2006.  

In 2009, Dr. Farina earned a Master's degree in Managerial Training for Healthcare Companies and has been listed in the Regional Directory of Corporate Medical Directors in Lombardy since then. He was a member of the Ethical Code Evaluation Committee for Lodi ASL from 2007 to 2010, Villa Aprica Clinical Institute from 2011 to 2021, and Zucchi Clinical Institutes from 2021 to the present. At Villa Aprica, he also oversees and coordinates Quality Certification according to ISO standards and the National Outcomes Program (PNE).  

Since 2009, he has been registered in the Lombardy Regional Corporate Medical Directors’ Registry and the National Registry of Occupational Physicians.  

Dr. Farina specializes in Building, Environmental, and Community Hygiene, with advanced skills in using equipment for microbiological and physical environmental sampling. He has significant expertise in laboratory testing for environments, water, and food.  

He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and training courses. His scientific contributions have been published in specialized journals such as the International Journal of Clinical Investigation and the Journal of Preventive Medicine and Hygiene.
