Biografía
Dr. Giuseppe Giunta is an ophthalmologist in the Ophthalmology Unit at Policlinico San Marco and also collaborates with Smart Clinic.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Messina in 1988, where he later specialized in Ophthalmology in 1993. He furthered his training and, in 1995, earned a diploma in Diagnostic Techniques in Ophthalmology from the University of Messina.
Dr. Giunta is a member of several scientific societies, including:
- Italian Association for Cataract and Refractive Surgery
- Italian Society of Perimetry and Diagnostic Imaging
- Italian Glaucoma Society
- Italian Society for Corneal Transplant
He began his career at the Ophthalmology Unit of Policlinico San Pietro in 2013 and, since 2018, has been the coordinator for chronic glaucoma pathologies at the Bergamo Hospital Institutes.
