Biografía
Dr. Franco Minuto is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Unit of the Istituto Clinico San Siro.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1979 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology there in 1984.
From 1980 to 2000, Dr. Minuto worked as an orthopedic specialist at the Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi. He then served as the head of the Knee Arthroscopy Unit at the Istituto Clinico San Siro from 2001 to 2016. Since his retirement as an AIOP orthopedic chief in 2016, he has continued his freelance practice, performing arthroscopic and ligament surgeries, as well as prosthetic procedures and outpatient visits in collaboration with ASL at the Istituto Clinico San Siro.
Throughout his career, Dr. Minuto has performed approximately 10,000 orthopedic-traumatological surgeries, with a focus over the past 30 years on arthroscopic, ligamentous, and prosthetic knee surgeries. He is also the orthopedic consultant for the Municipal Police of Milan.
