Biografía

Dr. Alberto Castagna is a Geriatrician at the Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Department of Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Carate Brianza.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2008 from the University of Milan-Bicocca, where he also specialized in Geriatrics and Gerontology in 2014.

Dr. Castagna works in the Neurological Rehabilitation Department and the Dementia Diagnosis and Care Center (CDCD) at the facility. He addresses key geriatric issues, with a particular focus on dementia and the functional and neuromotor recovery of patients following acute cerebrovascular events.

He is a member of the Italian Association of Psychogeriatrics and the Italian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology and is a co-author of several publications. He regularly participates in national and international conferences in his field.
