Dr. Ruggerini is a cardiologist in the Cardiology and Coronary Care Unit at Policlinico San Pietro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2011 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and completed her specialization with honors in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2017.
Throughout her career, Dr. Ruggerini has gained significant experience in cardiac imaging (transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography), as well as in transthoracic and transesophageal imaging of post-operative patients.
She has completed several training courses, including: 3D Transesophageal Echocardiography, Valvular Echocardiography (standard and 3D), General Cardiovascular Ultrasound (SIEC), Pediatric ECG, Theoretical-Practical Course in Transesophageal Echocardiography for Structural Interventions, Hands-On Courses in 3D Echocardiography, Basic Life Support and Early Defibrillation (BLSD), and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
She is co-author of several publications in international scientific journals.
