Sabrina Brambilla

Dr. Sabrina Brambilla is the Head of the Vascular Surgery Functional Unit at Istituti Clinici Zucchi and the ZucchiSkin Center for Clinical Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine at Zucchi Wellness Clinic.

Her educational journey began in 1998 when she graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan. In 2004, she specialized in Vascular Surgery at the same university. In 2019, she also obtained a postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the Agorà Higher School of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan.

From 2016 to 2021, Dr. Brambilla served as Assistant Surgeon, and in 2021, she became the Interim Head of the Vascular Surgery Unit and the Interdepartmental Diabetic Foot Center at Istituto Clinico Città Studi in Milan.

Dr. Brambilla's work focuses on diagnosing and treating venous diseases of the lower limbs, with over 15 years of experience in private and accredited clinics across Lombardy. She has performed more than 6,000 surgical procedures, both venous and arterial, as the lead or assistant surgeon. Her surgical expertise is particularly centered on phlebological surgery, especially the endovenous laser treatment (ELVeS) of varicose veins in the lower limbs.

Additionally, Dr. Brambilla addresses venous pathology for aesthetic purposes, treating common cosmetic issues of the lower limbs using sclerotherapy, mesotherapy, and carboxytherapy.

In academia and research, she has contributed as an investigator to several significant national multicenter clinical studies and co-authored a book on varicose vein surgery.

Dr. Brambilla regularly participates as a speaker at numerous conferences and congresses on vascular surgery topics in Italy and Europe.
