السيرة الذاتية

الدكتور ميكائيلي كارلوتشي هو رئيس قسم الجراحة العامة وجراحة الطوارئ في مستشفى سان رافاييلي (IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele) في ميلانو، ويتعاون أيضًا مع مستشفى مادونينا (Casa di Cura La Madonnina)، كما أنه أستاذ زائر في جراحة الجهاز الهضمي والجراحة العامة في مدرسة التخصصات في جامعة فيتا-سالوتي سان رافاييلي (Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele).

تخرج من كلية الطب والجراحة في جامعة ميلانو (Università degli Studi di Milano)، ثم تخصص في جراحة الطوارئ والإسعافات الأولية، وحصل في عام 2003 على دبلوم في الجراحة الروبوتية من مستشفى مدينة غروسيتو (Ospedale di Grosseto).

اكتسب خبرة على مدى السنوات كأول جراح في إجراء الجراحات البطنية والصدرية والأوعية الدموية والغدة الدرقية، بالإضافة إلى زرع الكلى والبنكرياس. بالإضافة إلى النشاط الجراحي، لدى الدكتور كارلوتشي خبرة في إعادة التأهيل السريري للمرضى الذين يعانون من أمراض جراحية وإصابات متعددة. أما حاليًا فهو يركز على تطبيق التقنيات التنظيرية في جراحة المعدة والمريء لعلاج الأمراض السرطانية وغير السرطانية.

نُشرت أعماله في مجلات عالمية مثل American Journal of Gastroenterology و Cancer و و Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition و Emergency Surgery و Transplantation Proceedings و Surgical Endoscopy.
