Dr. Massimo Agostoni is the Coordinator of the Operative Endoscopy Department of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan under the supervision of Professor Luigi Beretta.
After graduating in 1985 from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, he specialized in anesthesia and resuscitation at the same institute in 1988.
Dr. Agostoni deals with anesthesia outside the operating room for gastroenterologists and obstetrics, as well as anesthesia for children and difficult airways.
As for research activities, he is an expert on sedation outside the operating room. He is the author and co-author of more than 60 articles published in scientific journals of the industry. Constantly participates in national and international conferences and congresses.
