Maria Gabriella De Pieri

Dr. Maria Gabriella De Pieri is a cardiologist in the Department of Operative Anesthesia and Resuscitation of the II IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 1985 at the University of Pavia, and then received a specialization in Cardiology at the same university in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, she conducted research at the Istituto di Fisiologia Clinica CNR - the Higher Normal School in Pisa, Niguarda district in Milan.

From 1995 to 2010, she taught as an Associate Professor at Pavia University at the Specialized School of Cardiac Surgery.

Currently, Dr. De Pieri is responsible for the cardiological and internal evaluation of patients who are candidates for orthopedic surgery, as well as for follow-up during hospital stay.
