Luca Arzuffi

Dr. Luca Arzuffi is an interventional cardiologist at the Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamics Unit of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2016 from the University of Milano-Bicocca. During his final year of medical school, he completed a research internship in basic science at Yale University School of Medicine.
In 2022, he specialized in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Pavia, with a thesis entitled "Performance of Mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair: MitraClip vs Pascal". He completed the final year of his residency at the Hemodynamics Unit of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
He furthered his education with a second-level Master’s degree in Interventional Cardiology at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato – Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, focusing on percutaneous therapies for mitral and tricuspid valves.
Dr. Arzuffi performs both coronary and structural interventional cardiology procedures, with a particular interest in percutaneous treatment of the mitral, tricuspid, and aortic valves. He is also involved in invasive diagnostics for patients with anomalous origin of the coronary arteries (AAOCA).
He serves as an instructor for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses with the American Heart Association.
In addition, he conducts outpatient cardiology consultations and inpatient clinical care.
He is the author and co-author of several scientific publications and has contributed a chapter to a manual on Interventional Cardiology.
