Giulia Guglielmi

Dr. Giulia Guglielmi is a cardiologist specialized in Cardiovascular Diseases at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, where she is part of the Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology and Hemodynamics Unit, led by Professor Massimo Chessa. She focuses in particular on the clinical management of adult patients with congenital heart disease.

She earned her degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2019 from the University of Milano-Bicocca and completed her specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2025 at the University of Milan, with training based at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.

During the final year of her residency, she refined her training at the renowned Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit of the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, focusing especially on pulmonary hypertension associated with congenital heart disease.

At Policlinico San Donato, she carries out clinical activities in the ward and in specialized outpatient clinics, caring for both pediatric and adult patients.

Her main area of interest is the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of pulmonary hypertension and complex congenital heart diseases, with a long-term, personalized care approach.
