Dr. Claudio Soru is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist at the Interventional Pain Therapy Service of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio. He also collaborates with Palazzo della Salute–Wellness Clinic and Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia.
He graduated with top honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2016 from the University of Pavia. In 2021, he specialized with honors in Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, and Pain Therapy at the University of Milan. In 2024, he earned a Level II Master’s degree in Pain Therapy from the University of Pavia.
During his residency, he trained at Sacco Hospital, Buzzi Hospital, and Policlinico di Milano, among others.
From 2022 to 2024, he worked at Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Valladolid as an anesthesiologist and pain specialist in the Pain Clinic of Valladolid.
His work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain through pharmacological therapy, locoregional infiltrations, or minimally invasive surgery, based on pain medicine diagnosis and case-by-case patient evaluation.
He also holds several certifications: EPALS (European Paediatric Advanced Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS-D (Basic Life Support with Early Defibrillation), Trauma Base, and Major Emergencies.
