Dr. Chiara Boscaro is a nutritionist biologist at the Istituti Clinici Zucchi and the Istituto Clinico San Siro.
She graduated in 2007 with a degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the University of Milan, where she also earned a second degree in Drug Biotechnology in 2010, followed by a master's degree in Clinical Nutrition in 2011.
She gained hospital experience at the Dietetics Unit of ASST S. Paolo and S. Carlo in Milan in 2011. For ten years, she was the nutritionist responsible for food safety and hospital dietary management at a catering company serving the Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza (2011-2019). Additionally, she taught nutrition education at primary schools in Milan from 2015 to 2018.
She is also a science communicator, collaborating with various magazines and television programs.
Her work specifically involves creating:
- Dietary plans for physiological conditions and medically confirmed pathologies
- Diets for gastropathies, liver diseases, chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, dysbiosis, food allergies, and intolerances
- Treatment plans for eating disorders, emotional eating, diets for different age groups, menopause, fertility, and PCOS
- Nutritional management for autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and elderly care
- Nutritional rebalancing for metabolic disorders, endocrinology, and pre/post-surgical interventions
- Dietary plans for athletes.
