Cristiano Fusi

Dr. Cristiano Renato Fusi is the head of the specialized rehabilitation department of the Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza and the Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of the Zucchi Wellness Clinic. He is also a physiotherapist at Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

In 2000, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan with a thesis in physiology and Orthopedics, and in 2004 received a specialization in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Milan Bicocca.

Already finishing his studies, Dr. Fusi attends the Institute of Physiotherapy A.S.T.R.I. Professor Morosini and the Geriatric Institute Piero Redaelli in Milan, where he later defended his thesis.

After obtaining a diploma in medicine and surgery, he also continued his professional activities before and after graduation (for 2 years) at the ospedale Luigi Sacco in Milan, in order to start working at the Istituti Clinici Zucchi di Monza in Monza in 2001, where:

• From 2001 to 2007, he worked as an assistant to Dr. Alberti, head of the rehabilitation department.
• From 2005 to 2012, he was in charge of a specialized rehabilitation day hospital service.
• From 2007 to the present - Head of the outpatient clinic of external physiotherapy.
• From 2012 to the present, he heads the structural unit of specialized rehabilitation.

Training goes hand in hand with his professional activity: in fact, in 2010 Fusi attended a theoretical and practical course on ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system at the University of Rome La Sapienza and at the same time an ozone therapy course.

In addition, in 2003-2004 he was a sports doctor of the National Alpine Skiing Team (FISI), and from 2004 to the present day he oversees the social work of the Milan Football Association, and since 2005 he has been a technical expert of the Como Court.

In addition to these qualifications, he also holds the position of a social doctor in NIM (Italian National Magistrates).

The crowning achievement of his brilliant professional career , Prof. Fusi has been teaching for several years at the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan Bicocca, at courses in Physiotherapy and at the School of Specialization of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition, at the Telematics University E-campus - as part of a course in motor sciences.

Dr. Fusi conducts orthopedic and physiotherapy examinations of all pathologies related to the bone and joint system, including those related to the sports environment, such as:

• Sprains and joint injuries,
• Herniated disc and scoliosis,
• Injuries to muscles and tendons,
• Lower back pain and discopathy,
• Intravenous lymphatic and pelvic pathologies.

• Oxygen-ozone therapy,
• Pelvic floor rehabilitation (with effects on both pain and urination disorders),
