Causes and risk factors

It is usually caused by a benign tumour that leads to an excess of aldosterone.

Which are the symptoms?

In this case, the clinical manifestations are characterised by arterial hypertension and hypokalemia, i.e. low potassium levels in the blood. The patient becomes aware of this disorder because he or she feels tired and often experiences cramps and tingling all over the body.
