Sara Di Gregorio
Biography
Dr. Sara Di Gregorio is a vascular surgeon in the Vascular Surgery Unit at IRCCS Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio Hospital. She also collaborates with Palazzo della Salute Wellness Clinic and Smart Clinic.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery in 2013 from the University of Milan, she specialized in Vascular Surgery in 2020 at the University of Genoa. In 2024, she earned a PhD in Translational Medicine from the same university.
Dr. Di Gregorio serves as an assistant surgeon and is involved in procedures such as carotid surgeries (endarterectomies and CAS), thoracic, thoracoabdominal, abdominal, and iliac aortic aneurysms (both open and endovascular: aorto-aortic and aorto-iliac grafts, TEVAR, EVAR, and ILIAC BRANCH, FEVAR, and BEVAR), leg artery surgeries (bypasses and femoral PTA/STENTs and BTK recanalizations), and varicose vein treatments (saphenectomies and phlebectomies, radiofrequency, MOCA, and sclerotherapy).
Active in research, Dr. Di Gregorio pursued a PhD in Biotechnology in Translational Medicine, focusing on the “Research Program in Complex Endovascular Disease.”
She regularly participates in national and international conferences in her field.
