Francesco Paciullo
Biography
Professor Francesco Paciullo is an internist at the Medicine Unit of Policlinico San Marco and an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.
He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Perugia in 2010, where he also completed his specialization in Internal Medicine with honors in 2016. In 2020, he obtained his PhD in Translational Medicine and Surgery.
His clinical career spans various Italian hospitals, focusing primarily on clinical activities in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Emergency Departments. He also provides outpatient care for the management of hemostatic disorders.
His areas of interest include the management of thrombotic and hemorrhagic diseases, lipid metabolism disorders, internal ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound.
Over the years, Professor Paciullo has continued his education, obtaining several certifications, including the national diploma from SIUMB (Italian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology) in clinical ultrasound, the SIEC (Italian Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound) diploma in general echocardiography, and certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Prehospital Trauma Care (PTC), both basic and advanced.
From 2019 to 2023, he served as a contract professor at the University of Perugia. He became eligible for the second-tier qualification in 2022 and has been an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University since 2024.
Professor Paciullo is a member of the editorial board of various international journals and has authored numerous publications in international scientific journals, as well as co-authoring several medical manuals.
He participates in collaborative projects and clinical studies and attends national and international conferences annually, both as a speaker and moderator.
