Nikoleta Vaso
Biography
Dr. Nikoleta Vaso is a rheumatologist at the Internal Medicine Unit of the IRCCS San Donato Polyclinic.
In 1994, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan. In 2011, she obtained her specialization in Rheumatology from the same university. Four years later, she completed a second-level telematic Master's degree in "Clinical Problem Solving in Rheumatology" at the University of Cusano in Rome.
She serves as a Medical Director at the Internal Medicine Unit and conducts her specialized clinical activities at the Rheumatology outpatient clinic and Day Hospital.
Dr. Vaso specializes in managing patients with:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Psoriatic Arthritis
- Spondyloarthritis
- Systemic Sclerosis
- Osteoporosis and bone metabolism diseases
She performs and interprets musculoskeletal ultrasounds and manages early clinic services for the diagnosis and treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis and other inflammatory arthropathies.
Additionally, she has excellent knowledge in diagnosing and managing patients with:
